- The ACSA Distinguished Service Award

THE ACSA DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD (ADSA)
The ACSA Distinguished Service Award is an elite, prestigious and distinguished award, conferred for exceptional service at local, national or international level. The ACSA Distinguished Service Award is merit based and in recognition of exemplary or transformative leadership in the ostomy community, service or innovations which have advanced the physical or social well being of ostomates locally, nationally or internationally, or outstanding involvement in the national ostomy community over many years. The ACSA Distinguished Service Award is primarily intended for Australian recipients but, if appropriate, may be conferred on an individual who is not Australian but who satisfies the rigid qualification criteria.
THE ACSA PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The ACSA Professional Achievement Award is to be conferred on individuals who, in conjunction with or as part of their professional career, their duties or their employment, past or present, have made a contribution that stands above and beyond the call of their duties in a way that benefits the ostomy community or enhances the wellbeing of ostomates at any level.
